WELCOME!
January is the month I begin to plan for the future what I have to learn to succeed with all the new technical challenges in today’s society.
History has documented every generation has faced new challenges as new inventions replaced outdated tools/devices. Their key to success was to adapt by embracing and learning new skills.
We are now in the Age of AI - Artificial Intelligence, a top technical challenge for the future. How to proceed? I asked:
1. How will AI affect my life and society as a whole - good and bad?
2. Where do I begin to educate myself and get knowledge to be successful in the AI age?
In my search for answers, I found David Weitzner’s book “Think Like a Human – The power of your mind in an age of AI.” Mr. Weitzner offers a new way of thinking and encourage us to use the power of our minds as Artful Intelligence the Human ability to problem-solve instead of AI -Artificial Intelligence the “out-sourcing our problem solving”.
Mr. Weitzner discusses the AI -big tech future plans, and he warns of potential problems if not used correctly and offers a blueprint on how the human Artful Intelligence mind is powerful when:
Thinking with: BEAM – (B= body, E=environment, A=action, M=mind)
and
Defending with: VICE – (V= *Volition, I = intent, C= choice, E= explanations)

Mr. Weitzner explains his Artful Intelligence thinking techniques and offers practical ways to use them in your daily life when making choices.
When we remember, unlike, AI, humans, have a powerful tool in our “minds” it gives us the ability to think independently, relate with emotional intelligence, and be creative.
Mr. Weitzner challenge to us “Do the math”, “when we think like the humans we are, we can outsmart AI and resist the mindless future of algorithmic control Big Tech dreams”.
